Thor Bjornsson is an Icelandic actor and strongman. Bjornsson is the first person that won the Arnold Strongman Classic, Europe’s Strongest Man, and World’s Strongest Man in the same year. 

He is well known for starring as Gregor ‘The Mountain’ Clegane in the HBO series ‘Game of Thrones’.

Bjornsson is also known for being a professional basketball player. He began his basketball career in 2004 and he transferred to Premier League in 2006.

Thor Bjornsson normally focuses on developing his techniques for strongman events. He sticks to a routine that includes sleep, recovery, diet, and exercise. 

Every day he performs 30 minutes cardio routine early in the morning, and he does warm-ups such as Pause Deadlift, the Dumbbell Cuban, and the Farmer’s Walk.

Bjornsson is up every morning of the week to perform a cardio routine, and he does his strongman routine in the afternoon of the day.

Thor Bjornsson eats between 8,000 to 10,000 calories per day and he chooses his food and counts macros.

Bjornsson has to make sure his appetite is hight by avoiding foods that are slow to digest. He consumes 1 gram of protein per pound of bodyweight.

His meals have a basic template such as white rice, red meat, broth, peppers, and spinach, he likes to wash it down with fruit juice or coconut water.

When it comes to his midnight snack he prefers to have 50 grams of casein or raw eggs in the middle of the night.
