Joe Wicks is a fitness coach, author, and TV personality. Wicks rose to fame in 2014 after he began uploading entertaining cooking videos on the web. 

Today, Wicks lives as a fitness star which he never planned on becoming. His childhood dream was to become a school teacher, and once he tried the life of a teacher, he realized it wasn’t for him. He decided to pursue a career in fitness instead. 

He now is an online fitness sensation, and he has described himself as “a man on a mission to rescue people from the awful dieting industry.”

Wicks published a cookbook titled ‘Lean in 15: The Shift Plan, which sold 77,000 copies in its opening week 2015. He released two books in the Lean in 15 series, including ‘Lean in 15: The Shape Plan’ and ‘Lean in 15: The Sustain Plan’. 

In 2020, Wicks uploaded a video announcing that he would begin to produce “P.E with Joe” videos on his channel. These videos are exercise videos aimed at children to keep fit whilst at home.

Wicks announced on his Instagram that he would donate profits from these videos to the NHS.

He doesn’t avoid weight training, and he still incorporates a weight training routine several times per week. Wicks does this to retain his muscle mass and strength.

Joe Wicks’ Diet

Joe Wicks likes to show people that dieting doesn’t have to be complicated. Wicks likes to prepare foods for the next day, and eating them is something he enjoys very much.

He fasts typically for a couple of hours after waking up, and then he has his first meal of the day. Some days, he might have blueberries with oatmeal for breakfast or whole eggs, avocado, and nuts.

When he goes to bed, he consumes two or three more meals.
