Adam Levine is an extremely busy person; another trainer he’s worked with, Austin Pohlen, claims that he “never sits still” during the day. Apparently, the singer logs over 14,000 steps on his fitness tracker each day – talk about on the go!

Regarding strength training, Adam prefers a full-body circuit that can be done in 25 minutes or less. With a reputation for getting bored easily, his trainers aim to get him moving quickly with heavy reps of his favorite movements that leave him breathless.

Staying active, chasing his kids around their Los Angeles home, and practicing yoga are Adam’s primary forms of cardio, and they seem to get the job done.

Here’s Adam Levine’s workout routine:

 

Monday: Yoga & Strength 

  1. 30-45 minutes of yoga
  2. Strength training circuit

 

Adam’s strength training circuit:

Incline Dumbbell Row (6 sets, 30 reps)

Reverse Lunge x 30 reps (6 sets, 30 reps)

Superman x 30 reps (6 sets, 30 reps)

Rest one minute between circuits and complete 6 total. 

 

Tuesday: Pilates

  1. 1.5 hours on the treadmill 
  2. 1 hour of Pilates 

 

Wednesday: Cardio Sculpt

  1. 1.5 hours on the treadmill
  2. 30 minutes of yoga

 

Thursday: Strength Training 

  1. 1.5 hours on the treadmill
  2. Strength training circuit

 

Adam’s strength training circuit:

Adam takes Sunday to fully rest and recover from his intense workout circuits during the week.

 

Adam Levine’s Diet 

As a self-proclaimed “half vegan,” Adam focuses heavily on eating clean and healthy, but won’t turn down a steak, either. 

The most important thing about a healthy diet is consistency. Training those muscles hard in the gym and feeding your body nourishing recipes at home is key to training and overall fitness.

He also avoids dairy and aims to stay as hydrated as possible every day. Proper hydration cleanses the body of toxins, clears up the skin, and energizes the body and mind. Not to mention, being hydrated is key to having a good workout.
