Important Information

Before we discuss the ingredients, prices, and effectiveness of Wrecked Pre-Workout, let’s cover some of the important information on the product, such as serving size, servings per container, and container size.

Servings/Tub Size

Each Tub of Wrecked has a net weight of 505g and contains 25 servings of their pre-workout formula. Each serving is 21.1g.

Scoop Size: 21.1g

A single scoop of Wrecked, which is the recommended serving, weighs in at 21.1g. For a pre-workout supplement this might seem like a lot, but let’s not forget the fact that Wrecked contains 18 ingredients with most of them either at or almost at optimal dosages.

So which products can you stack Wrecked with? The guys from Huge Supplements recommend stacking it with their Pump Serum, which is a non-stimulant pre-workout, and their Formula XII, which is an intra/post-workout supplement.

They also sell this exact stack of Wrecked, Pump Serum, and Formula XII all together on their website for a discounted price.

Wrecked Ingredients/Supplement Label

Wrecked Ingredients List

Wrecked Pre-Workout contains 18 core ingredients, with content totaling up to 21.1g per serving. Let’s take a look at the supplement label, individual ingredients, and their dosages:

These ingredients are listed by highest quantity first.

L-Citrulline Malate 1:1 – 9000mg

Citrulline helps to increase vasodilation, which helps widen arteries and blood vessels improving blood flow. In your workouts, this can mean a bigger pump and reduced fatigue.

Whilst Wrecked uses L-Citrulline Malate 1:1, and most pre-workouts contain 2:1, the 9-gram dosage ensures you’re getting slightly more pure L-Citrulline than products using 2:1 with a common 6-gram dosage.

Beta-Alanine – 3200mg

Beta-Alanine is naturally produced in the body, however, people often don’t produce enough required for intense physical exercises. It helps with the production of Carnosine, which itself helps to reduce muscular fatigue.

3000mg-3200mg is a standard dosage.

Betaine Anhydrous – 2000mg

Betaine Anhydrous is another ingredient used in pre-workouts to reduce fatigue, however, studies have still not proven this makes a distinguishable difference.

2000mg is the dosage most pre-workouts will contain.

Agmatine Sulfate – 1250mg

Agmatine Sulfate is another ingredient that still needs to be thoroughly researched, however, the theory is that it can help boost nitric oxide in the body, and increase muscular pump.

Dosages can range up to 3.5g, however, 1000mg to 1500mg is considered a good and safe dosage.

L-Tyrosine – 1000mg

L-Tyrosine is often used as somewhat of a counter-balance to negate the side effects of high caffeine content. It helps balance your mood and may provide a cognitive boost.

1000mg is an ideal dosage.

Lion’s Mane Mushroom (Hericium erinaceus) – 600mg

Lion’s Man Mushroom is a nootropic, which is still relatively new to the scene, and further research is needed to identify the correct clinical dosages.

As a nootropic, it pairs well with L-Tyrosine for improving mood, cognitive function, and overall well-being.

VasoDrive-AP (Casein Hydrolysate) – 255mg

Vaso-Drive-AP helps to improve nitric oxide and lower blood pressure. Any pre-workout I’ve ever taken that includes this has always provided incredible pumps in the gym.

Inositol Hexanicotinate – 250mg

Inositol Hexanicotinate is known as “flush-free Niacin”. Niacin is vitamin B3, which helps convert foods into energy. Flush-free niacin may help lower HDL cholesterol levels, however, research is very inconclusive.

Caffeine Anhydrous – 250mg

Caffeine is the main ingredient included in all stimulant pre-workout supplements. It’s the main source of energy in such supplements, and 250mg is a very solid dosage. Anything above 300mg of Caffeine Anhydrous in a pre-workout is in my opinion too high and will produce more side effects than anything else.

Di-Caffeine Malate – 100mg

Di-Caffeine Malate has a higher half-life than Caffeine Anhydrous (5-6 hours vs 3-4 hours). This makes it slow-release caffeine, which can help to reduce fatigue toward the end of workouts.

Rather than ingesting caffeine before your workout, and crashing toward the end, Di-Caffeine Malate helps to negate this.

Hordenine HCL – 100mg

Hordenine HCL is another nootropic, that doesn’t have a whole lot of research done on it just yet. From what we’ve seen, effective dosages may start from 20mg.

Himalayan Pink Salt – 100mg

Himalayan Pink Salt contains electrolytes, and salt, in general, helps you to retain water, which can help boost strength and pumps in the gym.

S7 – 100mg

S7 is a patented blend of Green Coffee Bean Extract, Green Tea Extract, Turmeric Extract, Tart Cherry, Blueberry, Brocolli, and Kale. It’s used widely to boost nitric oxide production.

The standard clinical dosage is 50mg, so Wrecked contains twice that.

N-Methyltyramine (NMT) – 75mg

NMT is found naturally in various plants and is used as a stimulant/focus enhancement. In the bodybuilding world, it’s often used as a replacement for the banned supplement DMAA.

Higenamine HCL – 50mg

Higenamine HCL is used for potential fat-burning properties, however, the current research is inconclusive.

Theobromine – 50mg

Theobromine is a stimulant found in dark chocolate and coffee beans. It’s more a slow-release stimulant than regular caffeine, and the recommended dosages range between 200mg and 400mg.

Whilst Wrecked only contains 50mg, remember that it already includes two caffeine variants, and adding another large dose of another stimulant would become overkill.

Isopropylnorsynephrine – 20mg

Isopropylnorsynephrine helps break fat down into energy and can be used as a fat burner. The research on effective dosages is still unclear.

Rauwolscine (Rauwolfia vomitoria Root Extract) – 1mg

Rauwolscine has been researched on its ability to inhibit fat burning, whilst increasing overall adrenaline levels.

Wrecked Flavor Options

Wrecked Pre-Workout Flavors

When Wrecked was first released, Rainbow Burst was their signature flavor, and the only flavor available for the product at the time. Huge Supplements recently released an additional flavor, Peach Rings.

We haven’t tried the Peach Rings Flavor yet, however, we enjoyed the Rainbow Burst which mixed well and tasted great.

The Huge Supplements line is growing rapidly and since Wrecked is their flagship product, we have no doubt they’ll be looking to increase their flavor selection later on.

Personally, I’d like to see a sour apple or lemonade flavor in the future!

Effectiveness

When it comes to pre-workout supplements, there are three main areas that every good pre-workout should excel in.

Energy, focus, and pump.

Whenever a pre-workout is reviewed, these 3 things should also be reviewed.

Let’s take a look at the effectiveness of Wrecked:

Energy

Wrecked does a great job of providing both quick-acting and long-lasting energy sources. With 250mg of Caffeine Anhydrous, combined with 100mg of Di-Caffeine Malate and 50mg of Theobromine, you’re able to get enough stimulant whilst reducing the likelihood of crashes or fatigue towards the end of your workouts.

Focus

There are several nootropic/cognitive enhancement ingredients within Wrecked, which definitely help boost focus in the gym. Lion’s Mane Mushroom, NMT, and Hordenine HCL do the job nicely here.

Pump

Lastly, the pump. The pump is perfect. A high Citrulline Malate content, coupled with ingredients such as VasoDrive-AP and Himalayan Pink Salt make for awesome muscular pumps and vascularity.

Summary

So, how good is Huge Supplements’ Wrecked?

Weighing everything up, we love Wrecked and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a strong, effective pre-workout supplement.

The biggest advantage of Wrecked is the ingredients it uses and its dosages. It features Citrulline Malate, Beta-Alanine, Betaine, and Caffeine in optimal dosages. These are 4 ingredients proven to be effective in improving your energy and pump in the gym, and they’re not often dosed high enough when it comes to pre-workout supplements.

The downside of Wrecked is the limited flavor selection, but this isn’t really a big deal. New flavors can be introduced later down the line, and the current flavor options are not too shabby.
